Photography Services Contract
This agreement is between Kayla Hellen (“Photographer”) and [Client Name] (“Client”).
Booking & Retainer Fee
A non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total session price is required to secure your session date and time. The remaining balance is due on or before the session date.
The deposit is non-refundable under all circumstances, including cancellation.
Rescheduling Policy
Clients may reschedule their session one time with at least 24 hours’ notice prior to the scheduled session. The paid deposit will transfer to the new date.
If notice is given less than 24 hours in advance, the original deposit is forfeited and a new 50% deposit is required to book a new session.
Photographer Emergency Reschedule Policy
If the Photographer must reschedule the session due to an emergency (non–weather related), the Client will receive 10% off the remaining balance of the session fee. The deposit will transfer to the new date.
Weather Policy
In the event of unsafe or poor weather conditions (such as rain, storms, extreme wind, or unsafe temperatures), the session will be rescheduled and the deposit will transfer to the new date. This applies only when weather conditions prevent the session and is determined by the Photographer.
Cancellation Policy
If the client cancels the session at any time, the deposit will not be refunded.
Late Arrivals
Clients are responsible for arriving on time. Late arrivals may result in a shortened session with no refund.
Turnaround Time
Edited images will be delivered within 2 weeks after the session via an online gallery or digital delivery.
Image Selection & Editing
Photographer selects final edited images and applies professional editing in their own artistic style. Unedited/raw images are not provided.
Usage Rights
Photographer retains the copyright to all images and may use images for portfolio, website, and social media unless the client requests in writing that images remain private.
Client Responsibilities
Client agrees to cooperate and follow Photographer’s guidance during the session.
Liability
Photographer is not responsible for circumstances beyond control such as lighting conditions, venue restrictions, uncooperative children, or unforeseen events.
Agreement
By booking and paying the deposit, the client agrees to all terms in this contract.
